What Do The Governors Do?
The Governing Body is made up of a number of individuals from various backgrounds bringing together a variety of skills and knowledge as well as a commitment to ensuring that the school maintains its high standards and excellent reputation within the community. As Governors we work closely with the school's senior management team and enjoy a good working relationship with all of the staff, both teaching and non-teaching.
Our 'team' at present consists 14 members, 4 of whom are elected Parent Governors. The full Governing Body meets twice a term and plays an important role in the running of the school. We also have several sub-committees, which meet regularly to support the management of different aspects of the school such as finance, premises and curriculum.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Chair, or any of the other Governors, (through the school please), if you have any issues or concerns that you wish to discuss.
If you would like further information about being a Governor please ask at the school office.
